08.13.11. (In the company of animals)
Woke up to find an (injured) baby squirrel in my bathroom and my mother feeding a baby mockingbird in the living room. Typical.
The squirrel then proceeded to do a bear-hug crawl up my arm.
Brunch! Which consisted of two whole grain pieces of toast, 1/4 of an avocado, turkey + cheese. And pepper. Lots of pepper.

Guess who saw Band of Horses last night?
This girl! Wearing this outfit + messy hair (and keeping it classy with bathroom mirror photos, too bad I deleted my myspace!). They had just announced that they were coming to Miami the day before the concert so I am so glad that my sister subscribes to emails from the concert venue!

I actually never check the mail, so I suppose I’ll have to admit that I got a phone call from mo telling me to check the mailbox because Oscar may have sent you something. You also should know that I may or may not have ran out to said mailbox, though I’ll never confirm or deny I did such a thing.

Saturday night I threw a little goodbye/birthday party for one of my closest friends and was thrilled with the way it turned out! I especially loved the lighting - a floral lamp and white Christmas lights strung along surrounding trees - which lit up a small enclave tucked away in my backyard.
