American Apparel, which so deftly captured the consumer lust of the 18-to-30-year-old market with its pervy roller-disco looks, is twisting by the ankles over the abyss of bankruptcy, and its leg warmers are unraveling.

This seems to be the main tumblr topic on my dashboard at the moment! But after thinking it over, no matter how skeezy Dov Charney is, and how much reading this grossed me out, I’m still silently hoping for a huge “goodbye & good riddance american apparel” closeout sale — their double u neck l/s dresses are cuteeeeee! (but yeah, totally ready to see the makers of THIS be over and done with)
